Integrating policies, programs and practices into an Integrated Management System that incorporates the ISO14001 Environmental Management standard, Forest Stewardship Council requirements and is AS4801 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems accredited.
Continual improvement
Adopt a process of continual improvement by periodically reviewing policies, programs and safety performance, taking into account client needs, community expectation, legal requirements and technological developments.
Health and safety impact
Set objectives and targets that seek to minimise workplace injury, illness and incident rates and routinely monitor and assess the health and safety of workers.
Risk management
Continually identify, evaluate and control the health and safety impacts before, during and after conducting operations.
Training
Provide employees, contractors and suppliers with access to information and training in the use of the company's Integrated Management System and motivate all to conduct activities in an safe manner.
Communications
Foster open discussion with stakeholders, anticipating and responding to their concerns regarding the potential health and safety impacts of the company's operations.
Compliance and reporting
Comply with and exceed the requirements of all applicable acts, regulations, standards and codes of practice that relate to our activities and to measure, audit and assess health and safety performance against company and legal requirements and periodically provide appropriate information to the Board of Directors, shareholders, clients, employees and the public.
Review
Policy will be reviewed annually as part of the management review meeting process and updated accordingly.
